Inter-Care has been serving the greater New York Community for over 25 years providing outpatient treatment to individuals and families struggling with alcohol and substance use.

The Inter-Care model focuses on motivational approach to help each client begin their own unique journey of recovery. We offer a variety of programs using evidence based approaches which offer the tools to foster personal growth and long term change.

Inter-care is guided by Nicholas R. Lessa, MA, LCSW, CASAC and a team of dedicated clinicians and medical staff. Our multidisciplinary team has been trained on a variety of innovative approaches including motivational interviewing, DBT, and CBT, community support theories and addiction medicine.

Online Addiction Treatment

Inter-Care provides online treatment services either exclusively or in conjunction with face-to-face sessions. For the individual unable to maintain regular face-to-face sessions, INTER-CARE provides access to secure and encrypted videoconferenced groups and individual sessions, chat, and e-mail sessions from the convenience of your own home or office. You will have access to a certified cyber facilitator trained in online therapy. INTER-CARE hosts an online recovery community filled with recovery forums, easy access to professional support, webinars, and educational resources on recovery and relapse prevention.

Inter-Care Alumni

The Inter-Care Alumni group is dedicated to providing alums with the opportunity to come together as a community and experience a shared appreciation for life in recovery.
